98 Custom Cruiser Convertible

RidesDisplay and shoots

Arrive like it’s 1941.

Oldsmobile’s flagship convertible, built when GM was showing off. The top folds down at the touch of a dash control, so guests see you the whole way in, and you step out of the car instead of climbing out of a limo. There’s no gathering a train or ducking a roofline.

It seats six on 60-inch-wide bench seats, with more rear legroom than many modern sedans. Coil springs at every corner and double-action shocks give a smooth, unhurried ride, so hair and veils survive the trip.

Inside and out, it’s art deco: a woodgrain dash, a clock set into the glove box, skirted fenders, a waterfall of chrome and an intricate grille. The acrylic hood ornament lights up in the accent color of your choice, so it can match your flowers, your colors or your exit.

A bit of history for car people: Oldsmobile was the first make to offer Hydra-Matic, the first mass-produced fully automatic transmission, and this car has it. Bluetooth speaker is included, gratis.
